Pattern Life Christian School's tuition is $285 per child per month, with a 10% tuition reduction when two or more students attend. We are excited to be able to offer at this price an educational experience that encompasses the whole being, Spiritual, Mental and Physical. Lonnie graduated from Walla Walla College with a BS in Business Administration in 1973 and and Masters in Business Administration from Andrews University in 1976. In 1976 I started worked in the Adventist Health System as an accountant and when I left the hospital work in 1993, I was the Chief Financial Officer at Jellico Community Hospital, in Jellico Tennesssee. Since that time, I worked for 4 years as the Senior Vice President for Finance at Weimar Institute and for 3 years as the Chief Financial Officer for LifeTalk Radio, a ministry of the Adventist Media Center. In 2003, I left the Adventist Media Center and am currently the Finance Manager for Majestic Stone.

My wife Jeanie Mabley, graduated with a BS in Nursing from Andrew's University in 1974, though has been a stay at home mom and home-school teacher since 1979. Both of our children were home-schooled, for the most part, until they began college. We live in Madisonville, TN and our two married daughters both live in the area. We have been Seventh-day Adventist's all our lives. We are both heavily involved in church offices within the Benton Seventh-day Adventist church, and our involvement with Pattern Life Christian School is that of doing the accounting record keeping.

Profile: Craig Harding School Advisory Board Chairman

As a young fifth-generation Adventist, I found myself an "Adventist" much more by default than by choice. At age nine, I read through The Great Controversy, which helped me discover that the Protestant Reformation and our unique Biblical heritage as Seventh-day Adventists is well worth living for.

I am blessed with a wonderful family who home schooled me through twelfth grade. After taking my GED, I began working at a building supply store in Alaska, where I lived. I soon found myself in charge of the flooring department and involved in purchasing. At age eighteen, I took my real estate license exam and passed, and started selling real estate on my nineteenth birthday. As I was selling real estate, I began to study E.G. White’s four-volume set on the 1888 message. As I read, I found my ideas and mind strangely warmed by the love of Christ and the matchless gift of Christ our Righteousness!

In 2004, I began to struggle with God’s plan for my life. I had been tremendously blessed with success in real estate. I loved the business and intended to do it for the rest of my life, but I found that I could not find peace. The thoughts of the times we live in kept nagging at my mind. Finally I concluded that if I lived a good and godly life, was honest, and sold real estate the rest of my life, I would still look back at the end of my life and have regrets that I had not worked more actively for God. So I sold the land that I had bought at the base of the beautiful Alaskan mountains and walked away from real estate.

I went to ARISE Institute, directed by David Asscherick, to follow God’s plan for my life. After graduating from ARISE in 2005, I came to work here in Benton, TN, with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Lifestyle Center of Benton, and the AM radio station (1540 WBIN). God works in mysterious ways and I have recently started my own real estate practice here in Tennessee while I continuing to work with the Church, Radio Station and Lifestyle Center. On October 8, 2006, I married my best friend and beautiful wife, Alicia,
and we have begun a happy home together!

I am convinced that if we follow God and His plans 100 percent––whether in evangelism, home life, business, or education––we will find that He, as the original Creator and Educator, knows what is best! I believe that as "prisoners of hope," we have a bright future to look forward to in God’s plans for education!

Profile: Kari Montague Lead Teacher

Firstly, I want to acknowledge that I am a Christian who loves Jesus. I have always enjoyed working with children and I am very interested in following the principles of education as written in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy.
I graduated from La Sierra University with a B.S. degree in Health and also went through the Teachers Preparatory program and obtained an Elementary Education teaching certificate and license. Upon graduation I worked for the Pacific Union Conference as a First and Second Grade teacher. When my husband and I began our family we decided that I would be a stay-at-home mother. We home-schooled our 4 children, which was one of the best decisions we have made. I have always been involved in teaching activities within my church (Cradle roll through Young Adult, Pathfinders, VBS, etc.).
I also taught grades 1-4 and 5-8 for Weimar Elementary School in Weimar, CA. When our youngest daughter entered college, I began working as a second grade teacher and later as a Reading Interventionist for the Hamilton County Public School system.

Profiles

I thought it would be nice to introduce the schools teachers and advisory board members so that everyone can get to know a little more about each one. I will start with the teachers and then on to the board members. I will cover this over several months as I get the profiles.

I hope you enjoy getting to know a little more about us.
